Startup Nonprofits (0-3 years in service)

Congratulations on founding your nonprofit! We can save you 60 hours per year by streamlining your financial workflows and bookkeeping.

Now that you’ve formed your 501(c) 3 organization, the question becomes: “What next?” You may be wondering if your nonprofit is now legal to ask for donations and provide services to the community. It all depends on the laws of the state in which the nonprofit is registered. We will start with a financial checklist to ensure your registered nonprofit has all the approvals and permits it needs to begin raising funds.

Running a nonprofit can be overwhelming yet rewarding. Our goal is to get you and your team closer to the rewarding part by reducing some of the workload. We offer four types of services:

  • Bookkeeping to ensure accuracy of financial records, capital efficiency and compliance.
  • Budgeting and Financial Reporting so that your nonprofit can apply for grants.
  • Preparing Financial Statements needed to evaluate the health of your nonprofit and file annual information returns (990-N or 990-EZ).
  • Business Advisory to improve financial performance and maximize donations to increase impact.

Our mutual goal is for your nonprofit to become fully operational with the right supports in place. Nonprofits are the heartbeat of our communities, so we will be honored to support your good cause and play a small part in helping you make a lasting difference.

Fully-Operational Nonprofits (3 years and older)

Organizations that are fully operational are usually in the maturity stage of the nonprofit lifecycle. At this stage, these nonprofits have established a financial management system and process workflows. Our services are limited to:

  • Bookkeeping to ensure accuracy of financial records, capital efficiency and compliance.
  • Preparing Financial Statements needed to file annual information returns (990-N or 990-EZ)
  • Monitoring Budget vs Actuals to ensure your organization is staying on track and has the adequate resources to realize its projected outcomes.
